The Field
An old intuition: that we live inside something we mostly can't see, and that it answers to how we treat it.
There is an intuition older than civilization: that everything resonates, that everything connects, that nothing is quite as separate as it looks. You don't have to take it as physics to feel the pull of it. Most people, at some point, have walked into a room and felt the mood in it before a word was spoken.
Call it the field β the sense that consciousness isn't sealed inside the skull, but that we live and move inside something larger, and that we are more porous to it than we admit.
