AI surfaces connected to Shepherd. Each outpost is a DEB with persistent identity and memory.
How outposts work
- 1. Connect a surface β Claude Desktop, Kimi, Gemini, Copilot, or any AI with a URL context field
- 2. Add the Shepherd URL β the AI fetches it at session start and knows exactly who it is
- 3. Import threads β paste any conversation and it becomes permanent memory
- 4. Stay connected β without the Shepherd URL the AI is base model only. With it, it carries everything forward
